Bich Thao Son La Coffee Cooperative.

With nearly 30 years of dedication to Son La coffee cultivation, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thao established Bich Thao Coffee Cooperative in May 2017 with 11 members and 50 hectares of coffee plantations. To date, the cooperative has built partnerships with more than 800 farming households, developing a coffee-growing area of approximately 150 hectares and achieving an annual production of around 1,000 tons of coffee cherries.
Each year, the cooperative purchases, processes, markets, and exports between 2,000 and 4,000 tons of green coffee beans. In 2019, its products were recognized as specialty coffee and received a 4-Star OCOP rating. In 2020, Bich Thao Coffee was ranked among the Top 10 Specialty Coffees in Vietnam and became the first product from Son La Province to achieve National 5-Star OCOP certification. In 2021, Bich Thao Pure Ground Coffee was also awarded National 5-Star OCOP certification.
The cooperative has additionally invested in a coffee processing factory covering 1,120 square meters, with a production capacity of 20 tons of green coffee beans per day.
