Imported Hard Maple Logs (Acer saccharum) have long been recognized as a premium material widely preferred in the furniture design and manufacturing industry, thanks to their excellent durability and versatility.

The product is currently graded according to the following technical standards:

Hard Maple is scientifically known as Acer saccharum and is primarily sourced from the northeastern United States. Mature trees typically reach heights of 25–35 meters, with trunk diameters of approximately 0.6–1 meter.
In terms of technical properties, Hard Maple has an average density of 705 kg/m³, a specific gravity of 0.63, hardness of 6,450 N, brittleness of 108.941 MPa, modulus of elasticity of 12.618 MPa, compressive strength of 53.988 MPa, and volumetric shrinkage of 11.9%. The sapwood typically ranges from pale creamy white to reddish/yellow, while the heartwood is dark reddish-brown. The wood has a diffuse-porous grain structure with medium-sized pores that are relatively evenly distributed.
Thanks to its high hardness, weight, and excellent resistance to wear and friction, Hard Maple is particularly well suited for high-load applications. It bends well with steam, machines well, turns easily, has good gluing properties, and accepts stains and finishes beautifully. However, it dries slowly and has relatively high shrinkage during drying. It also has limited natural resistance to termites and harsh weather conditions, so it should be stored in a dry environment and protected from direct exposure to rain and sunlight.
