Vietnam National Tea Corporation – Joint Stock Company (Vinatea) was originally established as a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. In December 2015, the company achieved a major strategic milestone by successfully completing its equitization process, undertaking a comprehensive transformation that included agricultural practices, infrastructure and equipment investment, quality management systems, and brand identity development. Guided by its mission of “Promoting Community Health” and a vision to redefine the standards of Vietnamese tea, Vinatea has invested extensively in a fully integrated supply chain, covering every stage from tea cultivar selection, soil improvement, and high-tech cultivation to advanced processing and value-added production. The company is a pioneer in sustainable tea development and has successfully implemented internationally recognized practices, earning Rainforest Alliance certification for the majority of its black tea and green tea cultivation areas dedicated to export markets.
