Shan Tuyet White Tea, under the Fìn Hò Trà brand, originates from the mountainous Phin Ho area, Thong Nguyen Commune, Tuyen Quang Province. The tea-growing area has obtained EU Organic (Organic–EU) certification.
Origin & Processing
Raw material: One bud consisting of a young tea shoot covered with fine silvery-white hairs, primarily harvested during the spring season.
Processing: Minimally processed through withering and gentle drying, preserving the tea's natural characteristics without rolling or intensive enzyme-killing processes.
When brewed, the tea produces a bright straw-yellow liquor with a delicate honey aroma, subtle wildflower notes, and a light hint of nutty flavors. The tea has a smooth, naturally sweet taste with almost no bitterness or astringency, followed by a long-lasting sweet aftertaste.
Brewing Instructions
Light & Delicate Style (Teapot)
Ratio: 3–4g of tea per 200ml of water at 80–85°C.
Steeping: 45 seconds–1 minute for the first infusion; increase by 15 seconds for subsequent infusions. Suitable for 3–4 infusions.
Full-Bodied Style (Gongfu / Small Teapot)
Ratio: 5–6g of tea per 100–120ml of water at 85–90°C.
Steeping: 10–15 seconds per infusion. Suitable for 6–8 infusions.
