The trade office has also released a list of Taiwanese enterprises currently importing durians from Vietnam to assist domestic exporters.

The list includes 14 companies: Long Firm Trading Co., Ltd.; Enjoy Fruit Trading Co., Ltd.; Fou Ten Company; Honghui Life International Co., Ltd.; Lupin International Biotechnology Co., Ltd.; Nong Hsen Development Co., Ltd.; Z&C Fruit Trading Co., Ltd.; Very Fresh Inc.; Sheng Da Fruits Co., Ltd.; and Produce One Trading Company Ltd.

According to the trade office, the roster was compiled and verified using data from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) alongside public business registration records. The publication aims to help Vietnamese exporters identify potential partners and proactively establish trade connections. Specific details, such as email addresses, websites, contacts, or direct phone numbers of purchasing departments, are not publicly available.

While Vietnamese durians enjoy favorable market momentum in Taiwan, the trade office advises exporters to maintain strict quality control and food safety, particularly regarding pesticide residues, heavy metals, and local regulatory standards.

Ensuring compliance is vital to minimizing risks of customs rejection, return, destruction, or intensified inspection, thereby protecting corporate reputation and maintaining long-term market stability.

The durian boom coincides with broader momentum in Vietnam's overall fruit and vegetable sector. Exports raked in US$1.08 billion in July 2026, up 14.9% from June and 40.6% year-on-year. This marks the first month in 2026 that fruit and vegetable export turnover exceeded US$1 billion.

During the seven-month period of 2026, total fruit and vegetable exports hit US$4.788 billion, a 23.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. China, the US, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Japan, and the Netherlands remain the top destinations. China led with US$2.812 billion (up 33.1%), while shipments to Taiwan reached US$104.2 million, up 7.5% year-on-year.
